By using the app you enter into an agreement with its developer ("we") and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is intended for people aged 18 and over. It is not intended for pregnant people, people with implanted medical devices, or people with chronic or acute conditions as a means of monitoring their condition; such users must rely on their doctor's guidance, not on the app.
HowAreWe is not a medical application or a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and is not designed for making medical decisions. The app displays the entries you make yourself, weather and geomagnetic data from public sources, and statistical coincidences between them. This information is provided for general information only, is not medical advice and does not replace consultation with a qualified health professional.
The app never suggests which medicines, supplements or procedures to take, in what dose or when. The reminder feature only reminds you of a schedule you set yourself; you are responsible for that schedule and for keeping it consistent with your doctor's instructions.
Some texts in the app (the daily summary, the weekly review, assistant answers, the report for your doctor, feed posts) are generated automatically by artificial-intelligence models from your entries and weather data. Such texts:
If a generated text contains anything that looks like medical advice, that is a model error, not a recommendation. Please report it to us and make decisions together with your doctor. The "report for your doctor" is a formatted extract of your own entries meant for discussion with a professional, not a diagnosis.
The app is not intended for emergencies and does not monitor your health in real time. If you experience severe or unusual pain, difficulty breathing, chest pain, loss of consciousness, thoughts of harming yourself, or any other alarming symptom, contact a doctor or your local emergency number immediately (for example 112 in Europe, 911 in the US, 103 or 112 in Kazakhstan and Russia).
Weather, geomagnetic and air-quality data come from third-party public sources (including Open-Meteo, NOAA SWPC, OpenAQ and ECMWF) and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Readings from your phone's pressure sensor depend on the device and are not calibrated by us. Personal "triggers", risk indexes and forecasts are statistical coincidences between your entries and the weather, not an established cause-and-effect relationship. A coincidence does not mean the weather caused a symptom. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness of this data for any purpose. You use it at your own risk.
You decide what to log and when. You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries and for how you use the results. The "how many people checked in" counters are built from anonymous entries of other users and are an approximate estimate.

Core features, including all weather and geomagnetic readings, are free. The Premium subscription unlocks additional personal-analytics features. Premium is purchased and billed through Google Play at the price shown in the store at the time of purchase and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play subscription settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled under Google Play's policies. We may change the set of Premium features with prior notice in the app or the store. AI-based features have reasonable usage limits.
The care-circle feature shows circle members only what you choose to share (the colour of your day and support signals). By inviting someone you confirm that you want to share this information with them; you can leave a circle or remove a member at any time.
The app, its design, code and content belong to the developer. Copying, modifying or distributing them without permission is prohibited. Your own entries belong to you; you can export or delete them at any time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The app, its notifications and external data sources may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, outages at data providers or technical problems. Do not rely on the app's notifications as your only source of warnings.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data and freedom from errors, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage, personal injury, lost profit or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, its data, forecasts or generated texts, or from decisions made on their basis. Where applicable law does not allow a full exclusion, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the preceding 12 months.
You agree to hold the developer harmless from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or of the law.
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise. Disputes are resolved by negotiation and, failing that, in the courts at the developer's location, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules require otherwise.
We may update these Terms. We will announce material changes in the app or on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
